Orphans have always had a special place in my heart, ever since I was a child and even more so since becoming a mother.  Coptic Orphans is an international Christian development organization which works to improve the lives of children in orphanages in Egypt, many of whom have a widowed mother who simply could no longer feed them.  Through child sponsors and a network of hundreds of village-based volunteers, churches, and organizations, their programs help children to reach their full potential by staying in school and with their families.
